Model Pictures

I was in charged on the model making and the late design development of our structure.

Sate sticks were used for the structural components were it is chipped to follow the preferred diameter. They are then tied together with lashing ropework using threads and glue to support the structure.

Bual 2 x 2 Session

Participants of this competition From Taylors are to share our experiences on the berbual-bual session to the students and lecturers of our school. There were 3 teams including ourselves, it was such a memorable experience, learning from other groups of their struggles and how they succeeded in making it into the finals.

Reflection

This is the first competition my team and I participated in, we were all in our year 1 semester 2. The journey throughout the whole month of collaboration was difficult as it was in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic, everything was conducted online. Despite the constraints, we managed to get our ideas across to our team mates and advisors. Through this competition, I realized that my collaboration skills as well as time management are lacking and needed to be improved, I should also be more responsive towards the things that I believe could be improved. Overall, it is a great experience, though I did not learn much from it, I enjoyed the working process. I wish to have more opportunities to participate in more competitions with other like-minded people to not only improve my collaborative skills but also to regularly exercise my creative thinking.
